Overview
Job Description:Sura Systems Private Limited has two developer positions open. The ideal candidates we seek should have one to two years experience in Java or C ++ and willing to learn and move to Open Source frameworks such as Ruby, Rails, Python, Django, Perl, Flex, PHP and SugarCRM. They will be expected to assist us in our existing projects and also maintain our current work samples. Candidate who answered our previous calls need not apply. People with only maintenance and testing background need not apply. Developers who are fast learners will be inducted in our team as permanent employees if they adapt to our domain. Developers who have been laid off recently will be given first preference. We are looking for candidates who can join immediately. 1. OCR and forms processing (HCFA) work for insurance companies, Exchanges and Service companies
2. Image processing, Speech Processing and Video processing work involving Face Recognition, Iris Recognition, Biometrics, Medical Imaging, Machine Vision, Speaker Recognition, and Speech Recognition delivering both web based (Ruby on Rails, PHP) and standalone solutions (VC++, C#). We also build media players, using Actions Script and Flex framework.
3. CRM work and plugins based on and for vTiger and SugarCRM
4. Web APIs such as Twitter, OAUTH, GWT, Google Application Engine, Google Analytics, Google docs, Bing API, Yahoo API, Firefox Add-ons and Plug-ins
5. Data Mining,Text Mining, Language Processing, Forecasting, Linear and Nonlinear Optimization and Trading applications using R project, WEKA, Pentaho, and Ruby.
