QA Specialist - Senior Automation Testing

Overview

Job Description:
·Candidates with 5-7 years experience in QA (3 in Automation)

·Demonstrate knowledge of and hands-on experience in scripting skills
across a wide variety of platforms and languages -- preferably, 3+ years
experience in at least two major scripting or programming languages
(Shell scripting, Python, Ruby, VB Script, Perl, PHP, etc.)

·Understanding of XPath queries and functions

·Understanding and experience using CSS Selectors

·Experience using Selenium RC, Selenium Grid

·Experience with Continuous Integration build environments

·Experience with database programming languages, MySQL

·Experience building and maintaining a Selenium Regression test suite

·Understanding of object oriented concepts

·Experience with testing database driven web applications

·Thorough knowledge of internet, web applications, XML, and SQL

Excellent Communication Skills

Job Responsibilities:

Build the automated testing framework at Client.

·Develop automated tests utilizing said frameworks

·Work closely with developers to understand product requirements,
technology, and user feedback

·Work closely with the manual testing team while implementing existing
manual test cases into automation

·Act as an overall technical QA automation expert - able and willing to
do whatever needs to be done
