Performed Mfgpro/Progress migrations
Familiar with industries best strategies on DB dump/load, disaster recovery procedures, index rebuilding options, backup/restore and DB optimization
Basic knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows administration
Should have proven experience in managing customers and business users
Should have exhibited leadership skills and managed projects
Roles & Responsibilities:
Able to communicate effectively with Qad’s global partners and customers all over the world
Should be able to manage, train, recruit and motivate high performance team to deliver technical services to Qad’s customers globally.
Work closely with Qad’s senior technical team from different regions in devising deployment strategies, fine tuning applications and monitoring solutions.
Understand new technology easily and willingness to learn Qad’s emerging technologies
Should be able to clearly design and implement fact finding and problem resolution processes.
Tomcat deployment and monitoring
Qad products – eB, eB2, eB2.1 and upcoming products
Progress products – Web speed, appserver, namerserver and DBA
Should understand complex Unix scripts and be able to develop new scripts
Should understand 24*7 support model and effectively manage technical team to meet SLA’s
Develop and improvise solution monitoring and maintenance reports
Should be able to pick up skills on interfacing Mfgpro applications/ progress DB with external applications
