Senior Materials Engineer - Kazakhstan - Contract based positon for Kazakhstan - 15-to-25 years of experience
The job holder must have:   · Degree qualification in Materials Engineering & full membership of Institute of Materials/Welding Institute · Strong Materials, metallurgy, Welding Engineering and inspection/NDE engineering background · Extensive knowledge of pipeline design codes, line pipe standards and pipeline welding codes · Extensive experience (15 yrs min) working on major offshore oil and gas production projects particularly pipeline design and installation and Welding for sour service · Experience working on construction sites associated with fabrication of offshore oil and gas facilities and working with lay barge pipeline contractors · Design, procurement and welding of alloy clad oil and gas pipelines and LT pipeline facilities · Experience working in multidiscipline teams for both EPC contractors and operator companies     Keywords: materials, metallurgy
